NWO Posted at 10:10 pm on Oct. 17, 2008
bush is a fucking idiot that has done nothing but fuck this country over.
lisma Posted at 11:39 am on Oct. 13, 2008
yo as much as i hate bush i hate him for unfair reasons. The media portrays Bush as an insolent fool that started the war in Afghanistan and wants to start the next world war. I don't know if this is true, but Bush should be innocent till proven guilty.

i dont like him very much but i have only based my opinion on rumours. a big part of politics are rumours.
K SUN Posted at 7:33 pm on Oct. 11, 2008
i hate him because he relied on his dad to get through life. And because of that, he has no real intelligence and is why the country is the way it is

I really can't say that I hate him because I don't personally know him, but I dislike the things that he does and the choices that he makes. I can see how some people are saying, "Well, he's only human" but when you make a mistake while dealing with a country and allies, enemies, the economy for God's sake, etc...That's a different story. I also know that he's some times used as a scapegoat but...I don't know. Its very difficult to explain.

I don't care really.
ImMarkG Posted at 4:01 pm on Sep. 5, 2008
I don't hate the man.. He has made some bad decisions but then again who hasn't he is in fact human. No one looks at all the good he has done..

I have no personal interest in the US politics (they can fuck that country up as much as they like) but here's my bit from an intellectual interest point of view:

I think you people - whether you like or hate him - all show your utter ignorance if you think that Bush has as much control over things as you give him credit for. You act as though he's a dictator, and while he might like that, the fact of the matter is that the United States is a federal republic, made of three separate branches, each equal in power, and the president and his administration only directly controls the executive branch.

Now - my bit of Bush bashing: I think he is a coward, a patsy, and little more than a puppet to the agenda of the higher-up's in corporate America and his party, which essentially are the same thing. (more on this later.)
I think his administration is rife with corruption, and that his management skills are poop. I find the numerous cover-up's and the lies he has directly and indirectly fed his country and people to be a major betrayal of America and the world.

However; I'm not naive enough to believe that this is Bush's, or indeed, even his party's fault or that the blame is squarely on their shoulders.

The Republican Party is definitely the party of big business, but so too is the Democratic party; they just work it a little differently and don't shove it in your face as much. Both will ultimately work in the interest of big business, and the only way that particular evil will be combated in America is if a third party gains strength and starts to balance things out.

When you have one party in power, you have a kind of despot, and that's what's happened during some of the Bush administration's reign - one party had utter control over the country, and they fucked up. Big time. But you have to consider also that were the tables turned, would the democrats have been better? I don't know, personally, but it's something to consider.

When you have two parties vying for power, you have a political war, and no progress is made what-so-ever. You cannot divide three pieces of pie between two people equally. Someone is always getting shafted, and there will never be resolution until the position of upper-hand is removed.

Thus, the only solution, or a start anyway, would be a third party that could balance the other two out and create a dialogue.

Anyway - I don't like the guy, I think he should be ashamed of himself, but I don't think the majority of the responsibility falls on his shoulders either.

You show me who controls the wealth, the power and the prestige - and then, my friends, I will show you who's really causing all the trouble.
