You know when you look on someone's profile on LW, and it says, "Online for [time online] — Browsing Privately at [current time]" underneath the user name?

What does that mean when they're browsing privately? How do you do that?

Basically, you can't see the pages we are looking at.

it means no one can see what you are doing, you have to go up to Sustainer status

Donate $6 to LiveWire and you'll have that option under the "Appearance" tab.

You have to either be a Moderator or a Sustainer to select that option.

Basically, it shows that you are online but it does not disclose what you are doing or where you are looking.

Man, when I was a sustainer, I never knew about that option. haha.

You have to be a sustainer, like myself, someone who has donated $6 in the last 2 months to be able to be eligible to use the Private Browsing function. That or be a moderator and switch it on when you log in.

Donate to become what Byble said, but it really is the coolest feature in the world.

You can opt. to have your browsing actions set to private if you have Sustainer Status.

I think there's a setting, it makes it sound kinda naughty though.
