This is an informal poll.
1- I can definitely say that Jesse isn't biased against you at all. You probably have more of an issue with what he considers spam.
2-insertnamehere. His stuff was never ignored at all. I don't know if you know it, but he was reprimanded and many mods spoke out against the way he treated you. That situation was never ignored, either you weren't aware of the action which was taken or you wanted more action.
3-katyduck is one of the best SLs to ever use LW. She's offered incredibly high quality advice to many users.
But hss...
1- I can definitely say that Jesse isn't biased against you at all. You probably have more of an issue with what he considers spam. To be honest, he and I have just disagreed about that recently, which shows that there are many opinions on that issue. It's not personal.
Jesse is one of the most lenient moderators on the entire team. You would definitely rather have him moderating your stuff than anyone else. Idk if you're just trolling about him for a laugh, but you definitely don't see everything if you think he's against you.

That situation was never ignored, either you weren't aware of the action which was taken or you wanted more action. But I remember that he was threatened with a demotion and mods were pissed about his behavior.
3-katyduck is one of the best SLs to ever use LW. She's offered incredibly high quality advice to many users. The fact that she expects high quality advice from SLs shows her dedication to keeping the support system as good as possible.
Quote: from prisoner of hss at 10:20 pm on Nov. 13, 2008 thats because you pretend that its some kind of quantum physics shit It isn't quantum physics, but at the same time there is a lot that goes on behind the scenes. Enforcing the rules of a large community of people and trying to come to a consensus with 30 different points of view on many different issues on how we act is very hard. Topics can get up to 15 pages of debating ideas and points brought up. We have to take into account legality, member safety, etc and we do this all with a relative lack of direction from administration. It isn't mindless blind enforcement of black and white rules, and it requires know how. Why don't you make an effort to try to become a mod if the way it's run is so horrible?

and of course it requires common sense that a lot of idiots dont use, and i pretty much know already what goes on behind the scenes
Okay Hss. Nothing more can really be said, I'd just be repeating myself. It's rather clear to me, and I'm sure clear to the majority, that you are speaking very much from a outside looking in perspective - and that is hardly ever accurate.

Hss, if I went -out of my way- to abuse you (again, risking my position and reputation), then I'd have to have a pretty strong dislike for you. The last thing I'd be doing is defending you if I would go to such links to abuse you. Common sense should tell you this. Second: If you honestly believe that viewing something from the outside looking in gives you more experience than someone who has almost a year of first hand experience and interaction, then I'm fairly sure there is nothing I can do to convince you otherwise - but the idea of that is laughable. Just because I've been watching politics for 3 years doesn't mean I have more of an understanding than a actual politician. But, as they say, it's easy to arm-chair quarterback.

its hardly common sense, you act like this is some big thing, looking like a moron for defending some idiot is much worse than doing some bullshit that no one cares about
and yes i do, you sound like one of those who think moderation is some 'special thing', i know pretty much everything about this mod crap because ive spoken extensively to like 20 about it
poor comparison - politics involves many things and requires experience, moderation is a joke
thanks
First comment: Not quite. I could easily have remained silent, or easily argued the other side (rarely is there no opposition to an argument, it's simple to join the opposing side). Second comment: This just shows you really don't understand how the mod team here works, Hss. Ask any moderator if "no one gives a shit" when someone abuses their position - I can almost guarantee you'll get the same response from every moderator on the team.

well maybe you happened to be on and like arguing, and no, it does seem when a mod does something really really fucking random and stupid theres often unilateral opposition to it
or maybe you just think furrypanther is a dumbass like much of the mod team does
or other things
second: i actually understand a lot more about how this mod shit works than you probably, given how many ive known over the years, and no, for trivial shit like informal warnings and topic deletions where its not a valuable topic anyway they dont really care
That reasoning doesn't make sense to me. If I had it out for you badly enough to falsely delete topics, risking my reputation on the mod team and my position, why would I bother to argue your side on certain occasions?
and it hardly risks your reputation, because few people really give a fuck
