iiii wasn't REQUESTING thinspiration in my anonymous post "thinspiration".

i just asked, in the eating disorder forum, who uses it, what are your favorite kinds, and where their source was.

i never asked them to post it on livewire, therefore livewire's antithinspirationality shouldn't have interfered?

We do not tolerate the glorification of eating disorders on LiveWire.  We only accept topics about thinspo/pro-ana/pro-mia if they're discussion based, but your topic specifically requested information about where to find and such.

If this was not your intentions then feel free to repost your topic without requesting material that could be potentially dangerous to yourself and other members.

Just reading that, I can see the contradiction there. We don't allow people to post or really even look for such resources on here (whether it be through or by other members or anything). We deal with eating disorders carefully and try to remove anything that would encourage an eating disorder, especially since this is a support forum after all.

I can see why your post was most likely removed. It, in a way, encourages users to become more thin. In moderation, it is okay. Based on it being in the Teen Eating Disorders forum, it can definitely be seen as encouraging harm as users might just go over the top. If you truly feel that your topic should be replaced in the forum and have a good, strong argument you can always try submitting a MER.
