| No. Loco parentis just means in place of a parent. If you still have parents, then you can't get married unless they approve it. |

in loco parentis means the parent or guardian who is responsible for you. could also be a teacher, or somebody who is in charge of you in place of your mother or father. i believe its latin... if not my bad. |
