I've booked my flights to Canada and I'm flying out for a month next April.
I'm trying to make an itinerary, and want to know what you guys would recommend that I do?
I want to do typical touristy stuff, and one of the things I would love to do is go to an Ice Hockey match, but what kind of attractions are there in Vancouver?

I'm 19 and will be 20 when I arrive in Canada, if that helps.
And I'll also be travelling to Anacortes WA, Seattle, and Edmonton with Vancouver being my main place to stay.

if you could ever get in on a hockey game I think you would REALLY enjoy it!

Also, the Gastown section of Vancouver is really, really neat (we stayed in the oldest hostel in the city there one night, pretty cool) and you should definitely take a drive down East Hastings street if you have the chance.... so fucking sketchy and sad but it's a good eye opener.

Victoria is on Vancouver island and is a really pretty city IMO, though I've never done much else besides drink and go to the strippers there lol.

Tofino is a sweet surf type town, I've never been but anyone who I've known that has REALLY loves it

there are some AMAZING hikes in that area of BC, basically a must-do I figure. Maybe grab a Lonely Planet book, they're awesome.

snowboarding/skiing at Whistler if you're into that.

Edmonton sort of sucks IMO, West Edmonton Mall is kinda cool but I get fed up after a few hours.... if you're into bars and like country music, Cook County is a sweeeeeet, huge country bar.

we're not far from it but ryan knows TO much better than i :)
i'm sure he would be down to show you the good spots if we're free! or at least let you know where they are.

i would bet though that High Park is beautiful during the winter if there's snow on the ground.

Kensington Market, though i don't know how fun it is during the winter

It's 3 other friends and I, we're gonna spend the vast majority of our week long stay drunk. I'm pushing to stay in a hotel in Scarborough cuz...a certain person, but we'll have a car and all have enough money to take taxi's wherever the best places to visit are.

So anything you can suggest would be awesome :P.

There is probably a maple syrup factory to visit. I've always wanted to go to one of those.

I would also love to go canoeing through the wilderness. I have some friends who are taking an 18 day canoeing/portaging trip through the Canadian wilderness next year and I'm on the fence about going.

Lolol maple syrup factory... I've never heard that before.
*Sugar bush* is the proper name. There isn't just one. There's thousands. Although I'm not sure about BC, probably though.

You'll be legal in all of Canada though OP, for drinking. I've never been to Vancouver or out west though, so I can't help you a lot :(. If you've got time in Edmonton, go to the West Edmonton mall, it's the like biggest one in the world or something close to that. A theme and water park inside it.
Hockey game is going to cost you something like 60 bucks  a ticket, but it's SUCH a great Canadian experience if you embrace it.
