My friend said she would help me cook, but she is vegetarian! So. I need to decide what to make 5 people - the vegetarian will just have salad if she must (she usually just eats cereal for dinner anyway). No pasta or rice, they have had it on set all week. I don't know what to make!! Plus I need wine too, and it has to go with the food. AHH

It would go great with lamb, pork, or fish. you could do it mediteranean fairly simply. pork is usually a red wine meat fish is white wine, and lamb can be both. i can dig up some pretty cool easy mediteranean dishes for you? There are plenty of good meals you can make that have no meat and I'm sure you could do without it. If you absolutely refuse sea food and steak is always a go and it's great on top of a salad so you wont have to have pasta or rice and the vegetarian will not feel left out at all.
