So I absolutely love them.

If you've never heard of them, see improveverywhere.com.

Now, there's this one they did where a group of them picked out a random kid, pretended it was his birthday, and gave him a party and gifts. ($250 worth of gift certificates)

See the story here

I personally think this is fantastic. Apparently, not everyone does. (see the readers comments)

Also, there is a radio interview. Listen here. It's episode 286. Click the orange square to the right of the ep title. The IE interview is at about 12 minutes. The radio show talks about another "prank" IE did--showing up at a band's show and acting wild for the band. It's a new band that no one had known about. Pretty cool in my opinion.

At least the band took it a good way, and hopefully it helps them in the end.

I think the kid's freaking out too much for the bday thing. The radio guy makes it sound all horrible and that the kid didn't have an option to leave and that IE forced drinks on him. Chris (Ted) had full opportunity to leave, and of course didn't have to drink as much as it sounds like it did. And the way I read the story, Ted suggested they buy him a drink, not so much the other way around.

Thoughts/opinions?

I have recently been watching their youtube videos. I think that what they do is genius. If I lived in NY, I would love to be a part of IE, especially no pants subway rides.

I don't live in NY, otherwise I'd love to do something like that. I wished I coulda been a part of their redhead stuff.

I've been following these guys for the past two years or so, everything they do is gold. I'm on their agents list, one of these days I need to follow through and ride pantsless on the subway or something.

I love the Mobius Strip, that was a great mission.
