Me and my best friend are doing a dance together at a drama tournament in two weeks.

We've both been in dance for a while; this is my twelfth year and her ninth year I think.

But we're having a lot of trouble decided what we want to do and what we want to do it to.

We could do one of these styles of dance:
-jazz
-tap
-ballet

paired with whatever song. I think if we do ballet DEFINATLEY Phantom of the Opera or Beauty and the Beast, something along those lines at least. Pretty music. THe other two I'm not sure. I'd love to do a dance to Say Anything but I think that will never happen. Anyways...

I need help finding something really good.

Help me pick whichever style we can do, paired with ideas for songs, costumes, moves, etc. Videos, pictures, anything. I really want to explore a lot of options to see what would be really good for both of us.

Please, please. :)

EDIT: We're also fast learners.

Why can't you do a combination of each style of dance? In the song make sure there is a mixture of whatever music you chose to do.

For example here's an example:

Copy the links in your browser. The first one is a mixture which I think will give you an idea.

The second one is hip-hop.

I'm not sure what music you could use but Hip Hop Ballet is mind blowing, in my opinion.
I can't find a video of it though. But it's pretty much really rough hip hop but at the same time really elegant ballet.

Or try, Hip Hop vs Ballet, maybe find a remix that would fit with both and one of you can dance Hip Hop and the other Ballet.

do ballet if you both guys are good at that then you should do ballet it is very amusing at one point and easier to do and you know before i read that you were good at ballet i was thinking about saying that but then the song could be beauty and the beast it never gets too old
