What would they have to do to start? Pretend this person wants to be famous doing what they do too (acting and singing)..

There's a great thing that a theater company in New York City is running called Audition Bootcamp or something.

Apparently they are having all sorts of sessions with professionals (like casting directors, working actors, directors, agents, etc) in the business, some seminars, and even one on one time with people who can give you tips and advice on the pieces you've chosen and what place might be best for you.

I think those types of things are essential, and priceless.  Like Mastercard.  :-)

Spend way too much money on one of those schools to possibly be a backup or an extra.
