Replies mynameisdan Posted at 4:34 pm on April 20, 2008 It's just drop D and down 1/2 step.  It'll sound fine in drop D though if you don't want to retune all your strings.  Easiest way to change standard to drop D is to tune the 7th fret of the 6th string to the open 5th string.
