I know it's a long shot, and you can't properly learn guitar online, but does anyone know of a website where you can learn how to play acoustic/classic guitar yourself?

Thanks. :)

I would be willing to help you out a bit. I'm not great but I could certainly teach you the basic if you like. Once you know that you are good to work on your own. If you have skype we could have a call.

just grab the guitar and do it all on your own

Trust me, I've tried. It's not that easy.

Hi Jack Posted at 12:21 pm on May 16, 2008
get some tabs (greenday are good to start with, their old stuff), teach yourself them, they're pretty self explanatory.
youtube (better for once you get better)
learn powerchords, basic chords (A,E,G,D)
Em Pentatonic scale.
bit of musical theory
and you'll be away
good luck!
