I'm doing it this year, first week from 8am-5pm, second week from 8am-9pm. I get to play tenors this year so my back should be feeling great after all this.

I had guard camp all this week 8-5 and our percussion had the same hours as us this week. I am sorta sore but I don't complain it's my 3rd year so i'm used to bruised up hands and legs.

It's brutal yes, but a solid percussion section is vital to any marching band. Take solace in the fact that when other new kids start normal band camp, you'll already be well adjusted. :)
