| I find that sleeping a long time makes me more tired during the day. I think 14 hours is my record. It was like 11:00 PM to 1:00 PM |

| meh, do you feel tired every day? because then I think you should go see a doctor just to be safe. But if it has just been a few times and you've been really active or stressed, then i should think its normal. |

| I sleep an average of 5-6 hours most nights, more on weekends... 14 hours would like.. kill me. |

| Teens tend to have longer sleeping periods because their growing bodies require it. Another reason you might be so tired is you are near or on your period, or you are sick. Also it could be because you're bored and boredom makes people tired. Or maybe you're just fine, but need a little extra sleep. But I wouldn't read too much into it, I'm sure you're fine. |
