I had a dream about something the other night. I can't even remember what it was about, but that's not important anyway. But yeah, after that, the next thing I knew, I "woke up" and was in a different place, talking to my mom, (still dreaming, though) telling her "wow, you'll never believe the dream I just had!" And I went on to describe what had just happened. All the while, I was dreaming.

Then I woke up for real, and told my mom what had happened. She was kind of weirded out, I think. Haha.

P.S.
Oh yeah i thought everyone could control their dreams until couple years back when i was talking to ppl about it an they couldn't so i looked it up hahaha

Well you are mostly awake when you realize that you are dreaming. That is how you know that you are a lucid dreamer, a dreamer that can control it at any extent. I would suggest keeping a dream log so you can remember the dream. It helps.

Most deja vu dreams are messages that are given by your spiritual guides that you all have, it just depends on the urgency of that message to remember it. If it continues to repeat, pay attention to it, it is not all fun and games when this happens. Trusting your dreams is a must.

No, it's just an outer body experience of what your subconscious mind wants to do after you wake up or it is just realizing what you would want to do or say about a specific subject. It is perfectly normal, it is just a little insight of the future, or deja vu.

That's cool!

lol no, it's not lucid, lucid dreaming is having total control over your dreams. like, saying "I'm flying" and BAM you're in the air

that's pretty trippy though...
