What do you think about unions?  Do you think they do more good or bad.  Are they good for the workers?

I am for them since they are for the worker to get better pay and benefits.  I think they are good.  They don't allow companies to treat workers as bad as they like to, financially and with benefits.

They had to be to get the five year olds out of the textile factories.

I meant, as strong as they used to be in the 1970s and 80s, not the 1870s and 80s.

I know, just screwing with ya. We had some great unions in the states around that time too.

I like them- they taste good with potatoes and in soup. But too much is too much...

A little overly broad and generic, don't you think? Got anything more specific in mind?
