The laws of physics will prevent any mechanism that might spawn a Higgs boson or other new particles. http://tinyurl.com/62lauy When the accelerator is (was) turned on, the particles created violate the laws of physics, so it will be illegal for them to exist. The only resolution will be for the particles to travel back in time and prevent the accelerator from being turned on. That's what happened to the planned Superconducting Supercollider.
