| I was against the bailout until some guy on the news said "the government will make money off this deal! They're not losing money! They're making money at the expense of the shareholders". My sympathy for the shareholders, frankly, not high. However I am still against the stupid idea of "keeping lending at 2007 levels" - it was stupid then and will be stupid now. Good old fashioned thrift is what we need. Still if the government does make profit on this deal, good on them, lets hope they spend it on hospitals and pensions and the like and not propping up the American Military Industry by purchasing all their products. |

| Up again. Damn, here I was thinking Gordon was just shit with money. Guess he's just a fan of spending. Not that I have room to complain atm, ofc, he's done a lot this past week or two. |
