Replies Elm Posted at 12:57 am on Nov. 10, 2008 If you want a better and more consistent stream of bubbles take some aluminum foil over the electrodes and get about a 1/2 to 1 square inch piece so you have more surface area. Remember when splitting water you're going to get twice as much Hydrogen as Oxygen.  The oxygen can be fun to use in and of itself.  Also remember when removing the Hydrogen  container keep the opening facing DOWN because Hydrogen is lighter than air.
