That was about four years ago. Right now he's heading an accounting firm with branches in four cities and opening a fifth, and has around 30 employees per branch, and hundreds of clients at each branch. Some accountants can make in the private sector upwards of $250,000. Starting (out of college) usually ranges from $40-65k.
