Hey guys, I live on the west coast of Canada. The wind has really picked up these few days, going up to 60-80km per hour. Im sitting in my house right now and its SO LOUD and i cant even hear the cars on the streets. Its NEVER been like this before. I was wondering if anyone understands why this is happening. (seriously no joke explanations please)

An El Nino is occurring this year, so it's messing many things up.

Here in Indiana we haven't had any freezing weather since late fall.

Is this your first year there?

Its my 6th year here man. Im not saying i dont like wind or anything like that but its because this place has NEVER had wind like this. Could this be because of something like the air flow changing due to global warming or ice cap melting or something like those?

:( i hate the cold.

Why are you complaining? I would love winds like that... It is likely just a storm or something of the like... Don´t worry, everything will be fine soon enough.

I can't really explian the weather but I know wind is created by the lack of oxeygen somewere and air is going to wheverever it is. If the wind was blowing that hard here my school would blow away with it
