Whenever I have voices they are like real people planted in my head.. Currently I have 'Fiona', she is really mean to me and gives me the most trouble. Second I have 'my happy man', he is really nice and he looks after me and keeps me safe. Also, do you find you get obsessive about certain things (e.g. a number, word, song, person)? I tend to be obsessive with the number 6, I just have to count my steps like 1,2,3,4,5,6... 1,2,3,4,5,6 or I have to group things in 6's. I write 6 6's on my hand, do 6 pushups at a time, drink 6 cups of water, etc.. I'm worried its starting to ruined my life. xx

Replies hunnybear137 Posted at 10:27 pm on Oct. 1, 2008 join the club. i hear voices all the time, but they are nameless. i sometimes see them which prevent me from sleeping because they scare me. they tell me things i wish not to hear, and i am constantly paranoid. i like to have everything in even numbers too. like the sound on the TV if its on 23 i immediately have to change it to 24 if there is an odd pair i have to find something to make it even this has changed my life. i don't considering ruining my life. i don't have many friends because i am too paranoid to go out and meet people. when i am surrounded by people i hear million of voices and i feel everyone of them is talking to me and making fun of me so when i hear people laugh i think they are laughing at me. i dropped out of school because of this and i started taking classes again, its rather difficult, but if you meet someone and they start talking to you and become close to you , you know its something special. i feel that this disorder is the reason i have my best friend MystiqueBeauty16 Posted at 8:16 pm on Oct. 1, 2008 Quote: from Afu at 7:52 pm on Oct. 1, 2008 Quote: from MystiqueBeauty16 at 4:20 pm on Oct. 1, 2008 You need to see a doctor, that does sound like schizophrenia.    My Uncle had it and never took his medication.    He ended up trying to strangle his own mother, and ended up in a mental hospital where he died, alone, of four different types of cancer.    You don't want to end up like that. I hear exactly two voices in my head - one of a British woman, and the other of an old man.  I don't know any of their names.  However, every once in a while a new voice will come and go, but sometimes they're voices of people I actually know in real life, except in my head.  It's rather hard to tell reality from my mnid at times.   anc8469 Posted at 4:22 pm on Oct. 1, 2008 Yea the #3 is like my #.
