The world is very non-understanding and judgmental of people like me because of the way movies, tv shows and the media have portrayed us as evil and dangerous and retarded and all that shit, and it really makes me very angry. Pretty much the only people in the world who know about my disability are my parents and my doctors, even my school doesn't know about it because I see private therapists. I have never dared tell my significant other or my closest friends because i know what will happen, but I think going through my whole life keeping a secret locked up inside is going to destroy me.. I literally just lie awake for hours at night thinking about it because it bother me so much
