I wouldn't say that I completely adored myself, but then again, I don't hate myself like I once did. I'm kind of in the middle. Therefore, how can it be possible for me to be shy? I thought you were shy if you felt really, really, insecure or something.

Replies somelikeitred Posted at 3:58 am on July 1, 2008 That is normal! You are just working your way up to that level where it is easy to look people in the eye. Some people might appear to be "shy" when they are far from it. It is just in their character to be more quiet and reserved. Either way, there is nothing wrong with you. Maybe if you really want to be able to go up to someone and strike up a conversation or be able to look people in the eye....just push yourself to that level...even if you can only do it for a few seconds. If i meet new people, some of them i can talk to straight away but others it takes me months to start a conversation. Over the phone i'm awfully shy though, I just laugh. I don't really say anything.
