I just got two of the normal sized cans, like these. And now they're completely gone. So is it normal for a six week puppy to eat this much? Sorry if it's a dumb question, I've never had a puppy before. Oh, and her paw's fine too.

Replies RachLeigh13 Posted at 11:23 pm on July 15, 2008 Puppies will EAT, especially if they're a larger breed dog. I would get them some hard food to mix in with the canned. You have to give her normal portions, small ones and puppy food. Maybe just 2/3 times a day and a small portion. NOT THAT MUCH. Depends on her weight though. I'd consult a vet. If you give her all of that she'll eat it... She won't mind but that doesn't mean it's healthy. Don't let her though, only put a bit in her bowl at meal times, otherwise she'll get fat.
