My dog likes it when I spray Febreeze and other air fresheners on the carpet.

When he sees me take out the spray bottle, he runs over and waits for me to spray this.

edit: And then he rolls around in it.

Is this a problem? Is it alright if I keep doing it?

I don't think its a problem. Think of it as a catnip for dogs. He probably is just attracted by the scent and wants to smell like it. Dogs like to have other scents for some reason. I'm not trying to sound gross, but they even like to roll in their poop or puke to smell like it. Dogs are weird that way. At least yours likes to smell good.

Maybe something about the scent that attracts him to it?

Well of course. I'm asking, is it bad for him to be inhaling this stuff? It's like, an activity for him.

I doubt it.
