Support PETA

People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), with more than 2.0 million members and supporters, is the largest animal rights organization in the world.

PETA focuses its attention on the four areas in which the largest numbers of animals suffer the most intensely for the longest periods of time: on factory farms, in laboratories, in the clothing trade, and in the entertainment industry. We also work on a variety of other issues, including the cruel killing of beavers, birds and other "pests," and the abuse of backyard dogs.

PETA works through public education, cruelty investigations, research, animal rescue, legislation, special events, celebrity involvement, and protest campaigns.

Support ASPCA

The ASPCA was founded in 1866 as the first humane organization in the Western Hemisphere. The Society was formed to alleviate the injustices animals faced then, and we continue to battle cruelty today. Whether it's saving a pet who has been accidentally poisoned, fighting to pass humane laws, rescuing animals from abuse or sharing resources with shelters across the country, we work toward the day in which no animal will live in pain or fear. Come and join us in the fight to end animal cruelty—

PETA and ASPCA supports animals that look like this:

I didn't want to post all the gruesome ones. If you're curious, google search animal cruelty.

To keep this from total advertising, what have you done to help animals that are tortured or neglected? Are you a vegetarian? Do you support helping mistreated animals but still eat meat? Have you donated to PETA, ASPCA, or other organizations? Share.

I'm having a hard time deciding if taking animals from their natural habitats and breeding them to serve our needs or wants is right.

and I am trying to make it a happy ending.  go research those organizations.

actually instead of a happy ending it sounds like your trying to rub it in his face a little bit to ensure it really soaks in.

no need to call people idiots, he is right in saying that animals deserve rights, just not that animals deserve any more than they already have. I love animals but that is my standpoint.

No no, he's implying we think they don't have RIGHTS.

We say they deserve welfare. We don't want them ill treated and such.

He just takes points he can deal with, and totally even fucks that up.
