Before I ask the question, please don't attack the fact that I breed any animal. I'm certified and understand healthy breeding. I have 3 yorkies, one female and two males and I only breed the female every other year, if even that. I do it for the love of the breed. I am not a puppy mill I love all dogs and pay for vet visits and all shots of all of my puppies. So if you're thinking of attacking the fact that I breed, please think again.

On to the question - As aforementioned I have a female yorkie, Lucie. She is recently out of heat and Has had a fling with my male Studley. She's showing the symptoms of dog pregnancy, (Nesting, change in temperment, increased exhaustion, strange appetite) but one thing that is confusing me is that she seems to have a bad morning sickness. In the past, my dogs haven't had it that bad.

This worries me, because she has it bad. She's hydrated and she can keep down food, but she throws up once or twice a day which is unusual from what I've seen.

Is this normal?
Have your pregnant dogs had very bad pregnancy sickness?

She has all of the signs based on my past experience. I wanted to get other opinions before taking her in for an expensive ultrasound.
