Hand-feeding my lizard. He has an eye infection and it's been going on for like a week and a bit, so I have to feed him. And wax worms are disgusting; crickets are so much better, but a lot harder to catch.
Then he decided to dig the ground in his tank with his head and got soil in the infected eye. Cleaning it out is torturous.

Why can't it just fix itself faster. Uh.

Could you put paper towels down over the soil until his eye clears up? that might help a bit
