Replies sweetjane Posted at 9:12 pm on Dec. 27, 2008 you cant cuddle your fish and they dont purr or have tails what wag. alot of people still feel close to their pets that arent as emotional as cats or dogs. i got really upset when a snake died, it was because he seemed so little and poor. i found him and gave him to my friend but he choked on a worm, there was no way my friend could have known it would happen but it did. you can become emotionally attache dot any pet, even scaley ones. That being said, I did have a fish when I was younger that lasted 3 years.  He ended up passing away, and I cried and buried him and everything.
