Ugh, I've had cats all my life, I just let them eat when they want to eat. This is the first one that's been overweight.

Yeah but a cat will leave food in their bowl and come back later. They really are bad at deciding when they should stop eating. Even a lazy cat shouldn't be fat. I mean how fat are we talking?
She's pretty fat... I don't really know how to judge.

Oh. Well it's pretty easy for cats to get overweight. Just don't leave food that can last for days in there though. They need smaller portions with time in between.

She leaves food in her bowl.  A cup usually lasts about 2 days.  She is just inactive.

My cat eats constantly. She always has a bowl of food out...lol.

  She is HUGE

You probably shouldn't leave it out for her lol

Nah, she's fine that way. She eats when she feels like it.

Ha, but cats don't really know when to stop eating, that's why she's huge. Usually they say 1/4 cup in the morning and during dinner time is enough for a cat.
