Some bastard ran him over on the road.
I'm round my boyfriends and my sister called me that night saying she couldn't get him in, she left the window open overnight and he still hadn't come in..then she was driving to work the next day and saw him dead on the side of the road :(

She said there was loads of blood in the middle of the road so whoever did it moved him anyway he was in running position on he had a massive head injury and there was so much blood on the road that we think it was instant. At least he wasn't curled up on the side of the road and in pain.

He had such a beautiful temperament! Whenever you walked in the room or spoke to him he would meow at you :( and he only just fully came out of his shell.

This is him, his name was Tonto, my beautiful moggy!

Yes, because I am unwilling to risk myself to dodge an animal, I am going around flattening animals

I am very aware of where we are from, hence why I said AROUND HERE! Obviously he didn't run away from everything if he was outside at night and got himself hit by a car.

I stated something you didn't want to hear, not something that didn't need to be said. I expect someone to be sad about their cat, but I don't expect them to go on a rampage about how horrible someone is when they don't even know what happened. You are the one being bitchy, calling someone names because you left your cat out! I am not telling people how they should act, however, I have a right to say what I feel is not appropriate. I am not trying to argue, I am responding to you. You are the one with an attitude.

I'm done. I think you are being ridiculous calling people names because your cat was out on the road at night and accidentally got hit.

and I think you're a fucking arshole, but there we go.
I don't leave my cats outside all night, ever. He was called in as it says above! But he didn't come in because he was probably already dead by then. It doesn't even affect this person, so I don't know why you're crying about it.

Glad you're done, kindly fuck off.

Dodging an animal can cause a lot more than a scratch. Not all animals have micro chips, and around here, vets are simply going ti say "and"? If a dead animal is reported. The cat could have run out before they had a chance to react, the cat could have run out directly in front of them, straight under the tire or under the back tire.

I'm not trying to argue. I simply stated that it was not appropriate to name call when you don't even know what happened, and you went batshit. Accidents like this happen, reacting in such a way isn't going to change that.

Obviously I know that. If you want to go left right and centre flattening animals, go for it! But i'm still gonna dodge them. Vets around there? If you hadn't noticed we're from completely different areas. And yes I realize my cat could have run straight into it, but I highly doubt it because he ran away from everything

You simply stated something that didn't need to be heard and as I said, does this have anything to do with you? no. Is it hurting you, no. How else do you expect someone to react! Good for you! I can act however I please, sick of bitchy people like you thinking you can go around telling everyone how they should act. If you wasn't trying to argue you wouldn't have said anything.

I don't think name calling is appropriate though, I'm sure they didn't do it on purpose.

If I ever see an animal in the middle of the road I dodge them, not run them over. I'm sure they could have dodged a fucking cat! Let alone it was right on a really big bend where you have to go round it at about 20 miles an hour. So how they managed to knock him over I don't know.

Oh. You have no idea how many wankers there are around here who do this kinda shit on purpose too.

Could've called the vets that the knocked him down but no.

not to sound rude, but if its that bad of a turn and say there was a person walking on the side where the cat was so they could only swerve into oncoming traffic around a hair pin turn and had a vehicle behind them...the only option would be to try and miss but keep going. peoples mental track is that their life is more important than a cats. who's gonna wreck a car lose work and money...so many variables that could have happened. if it was dark out...and as for calling the vet you said yourself it was instant. and i think it was tbh from personal experience. sometimes things like this are inevitable. hope you feel better and sorry for your loss:(.
my cat is like my best friend, idk what i'd do if i lost her.

Dodging an animal is not only sometimes impossible, but also unadvised and dangerous.  Dodging an animal can cause an accident, and as horrible as PETA believes it is, human life is more important than a cats. If it was dark, it's likely they didn't even see it.  I don't see the point in speculating to place blame.

Why would you call a vet to tell them you killed a cat that was in the road?

I don't give a fuck. Who just runs over an animal when they can dodge it. I'd rather scratch up my car than run over a cat. Yeah likely story that they couldn't see it, you have lights on your car for a reason, I can see animals in the dark that run out in the road. Plus I don't even know this person, give a shit if I point the blame. If I did know them, I'd still blame them, so.

Umm, I don't know because it's someones pet? Pets have microchips in them for a reason. I would rather know whether it was dead or alive if it had wandered for miles.

Fuck.

Also, what is this to you? Arguments for a reason. Christ.
