I was thinking about buying a jacket there and the one im looking at is like $160 or so and i hear they are very warm, but i'd like a second opinion before i drop that much on just a jacket.

As far as I know that isn't too much money for a good coat.

check to see that it is a style that will last for more than one season. If you can honestly tell yourself that you'll still pull it out and gladly wear it in two years then it's worth the price.

Northface stuff is made really well, as far as I know and I believe they are very warm. I live in Northern Vermont and there is one of their stores in the area.

I would never spend that much on a jacket, I would find a similar alternative
