(This is not a rate me topic)

I have been debating about what to do with my hair for some time now. I'm a brunette, but I've died it a bit darker a few times and I like it, but now I want more of a softness, and a less harsh appearance.

If I post a picture in the topic of myself, I know I'll just be accused of this being a rate me topic again.. and I don't want that, so if you actually want to give me some advice or your opinion on the matter, check out my image basket.
When you first go to my pictures, the one's you'll see were taken a few months ago and my hair is a little lighter now.  If you go to the "my love" category in my image basket, the most recent picture was only taken a few days ago -- my hair came out a little lighter in the picture than it actually is, but very close.

So do you think highlights would look good on me? What do you think -- highlights, lowlights, leave it, all over colour, something else?

Thanks = )

yes I did post this earlier, but it didn't get any responses. delete the other one if you have to mods.

I think you would look good with brown hair and blonde highlights. Maybe some red in there too.

hmm, red too eh? What about like.. thin blonde, and maybe like a copper tone?

Copper would look good. It would add a nice shine to your hair, and it wouldn't stand out as much as red.

right now, i don't think it's harsh at all. i know you want to do something with it, though, so i would suggest just a couple of shades lighter. it'll give it the softness you want without being to dramatic.

i wouldn't suggest highlights. sometimes they can look chunky and really fake.

A couple shades of brown lighter?

It's pretty light right now.. maybe if I did some light, very thin highlights all over, then it would give the illusion of lighter brown hair?

thanks :)
