What do your body tattoos, if any at all, mean to you?
-Show them off, explain the way they look as best as possible. -Tell why they mean what they mean to you, give a story on them. -If you have one without a story behind it, or maybe you don't think it counts as really meaning much, then post it here, I am interested in all.

Post your first tattoo experience, how you felt, how it felt, cost, fear/anxiety, everything.
As I draw in closer and closer to my tattoo day, I get more antsy to hear stories from others. So, please, share a little.
EDIT: If you are not currently inked, then just share with me what you'd like to get. Maybe I can help you get clear on your is it you want, or help you draw it up. You can message if you're brave enough. I like to help with things like this.

Piercings Do you have any body piercings? If so, where, when and why? What do you think about radical piercings, such as corset piercings? And do you have any yourself?
Also post here if you have any questions regarding piercings, such as how painful certain piercings are, the best place to get them done, age limits and restrictions, care of the piercing, etc.
Quote: from ixi at 7:15 pm on Oct. 5, 2008 My friend was watching LA Ink, and apparently someone got a tattoo of cheese in remembrance because they found out they're lactose intolerant. Just throwing that out there, I started cracking up when she told me. Yeah I saw that episode. His story was pretty sad, really. He became lactose intolerant because he was in a bad accident and tore his intestines, and a ton of it had to be removed, rendering him lactose intolerant, and his favourite food was cheese. Poor guy.

Aww that is sad!
Anywho, I've decided I am, for my first big tattoo, something not just of a word, doing a bottle design with a tag on it saying "DRINK ME". It will go along with the "Curiouser and curiouser..." I have planned. I've realized most of my tattoos are literature-themed. Some are music, like the yellow bird(s) I have planned.
or something cool like aesop rock lyrics or something
but i feel like i might regret putting anything on my body
so no
I smoke tobacco with this device /\
The kanji are Japanese for "Mind Axe", the name I was given when I got my black belt (one end of my belt has those kanji in red, the other has the school's in white). When I first thought of the tattoo I was resistant because trendwhores have a revolting tendency to suck down Asian lettering like so much fashionable cock, but in the end I decided that I had a legitimate reason for getting it in Japanese and can thus do so while maintaining a small shred of dignity.
After that would love to get four more piercings on my right ear, and an industrial on my left ear.
Next year I wanna get tattoos. Only two though - one on each wrist. Thinking I might get the word "Love" and then on my other wrist a peace sign with the word "Imagine" round it...or "Imagine" on one wrist and "Peace" on the other, to read "Imagine peace"
