But if I didn't know any better, I'd say Beyonce is getting lighter. Now before you argue what I think you are going to argue, let me say this:

1.) Yes, Black people tan in the summer, and get lighter in the winter. However, we don't literally CHANGE colors. In the summer, our hair gets lighter, and our skin gets darker. In the winter, our skin gets lighter, and our hair gets darker. I'm not saying this makes her any "less Black". Once again, just an observation.

2.) This is just my opinion. If she is using skin lighteners, or if she isn't, that's her decision. But I think some of her cosmetic procedures are questionable.

3.) I realize color and appearance can change based on lighting, camera angles, etc.

Now here are the pictures.

edit: Observe for yourself. The last picture IS Beyonce, which is why I posted this. There's been a lot of controversy over that ad, because people claim her skin was whitened.

They are in order as of time.

WARNING: Pictures are HUGE.

She was always a lightish, bronze color.

Yeah I can see she's getting lighter but I think is just the photo shots that may be like that, cause I think Beyonce is to smart and to prod of her race to try those whitening products

The third, fourth and fifth pictures are all from the same fucking night. Look at what she's wearing.

The only one I really noticed the difference in was the last one.

the last one doesnt even look like beyonce. Are you sure its her?

That's definitely Beyonce, that's why I posted this.

There's been a lot of controversy over that last picture. It's a L'Oreal Ad, where people claim that her skin was lightened.

cherrys77 Posted at 1:14 pm on Aug. 7, 2008
It could be the lighting
snowfish Posted at 1:14 pm on Aug. 7, 2008
the lighting is totally different in all those photos and the last one is really photoshopped. That said though, I've heard this argument over and over, and it just makes me sad.

It may be the color of her clothes, and on the second to last one she is wearing tights or legings.
