Yeah I realized the % sign right after I posted that, but what about the fact that some places were more tested than others...How can you get tested to see if you are H9 or not?
They usually have people in universities that sign up or are just part of the university to get tested. I know it's flawed and not 100% accurate... |

I beg to differ :P And if that was a serious comment it goes against something you said in the past |

I was thinking about that for N, but considering your description of how H9 is measured, unless the number is H9 in a percent of the population rather than as the actual number of people who had it, it would be impossible.
It says: Frequency (%) So it IS a percent!
It also wouldn't make sense because some places were much more tested than others. Many of those countries in Europe have different ethnic groups as well, which aren't specified as they are in other countries, which messed up the data a bit. But basically, the higher the H9 and H3 the less white the population is?
No no no! 1st - I didn't post any information on H3 so just ignore those numbers for now. 2nd - H9 isn't the ONLY marker to be nonWhite - it is ONE deletion that is found among Middle Easterners. It represents Middle Eastern admixture only - and it's not a full or accurate representation of EXACTLY how much but a fuzzy average. |

So, if your H9 is more then say...20 you are effectively not white?
Each individual either has H9 or doesn't. That is an indication of nonWhite ancestry - particularly Middle Eastern. If the number itself is high in the country than you can say Middle Easterners have had their impact on the country.
What is N and H3?
HG 3 is just a comparing mutation that has no relevance to Middle Eastern ancestry. You can just ignore it but it was added to the chart for other purposes. N might just be the number of people tested? |

but that doesn't tell me what H9 is exactly. Its just some random variable...but what is it??? And text is it? The more h9 the population the more closely related to middle eastern people they are? But what does that mean? Iranians are white.
H9 is a mutation that appeared among a non-White Caucasoid population. Remember - Iranians may be Caucasoid with White mixture - but they aren't White. Therefore, it indicated Middle Eastern admixture.
