No everyone else gets those too...not just blacks.
I know. It just seems that black people are the main target for these kinds of things as always....
Yeah true alot of people on here seem to have a serious beef with black people. |

Eh...I never had an instance where whites try to act 'black' around me. They mainly just lose all their comfort level and kind of stay neutral and somewhat quiet before I step in. (But I doubt every person that does that does it for the fact that I'm black; some people are just shy y'know?) Soon as I talk and make them a little too comfortable becomes the problem. But most of my friends know the black joke thing annoys me so they just treat me like one of the guys and I never have to hear that shit unless on accident. Like for example me and my bro were playing Gears of War 2 and Cole had said something pretty stupid...my buddy comes out with "Why do black people make it so easy to be racist!" in laughter and then quickly regained his composure followed with a "Just kidding". He's my buddy so I don't hold it against him. I doubt it's that people who say things like this are truly racist...they just mostly say things without any real thought or more than likely just trying to build up a cheap gag. Hang around enough white kids you develop an immunity even though I have been known to go off esp. in HS when i passed by these two little shitheads who said "Look at that lil' gangstuh". They looked surprised I heard them so obviously they were hoping I wouldn't notice, but I was only 5'7 120 lbs and more than likely thought I didn't have the spine to confront them. Again it's a cheap gag and it can get annoying but whatever...they're just white kids who think they're hilarrious, whatre u gunna do? But don't be like me entirely. I regret not smashing a few faces in for some very offensive comments I didn't deserve. Thats why sometimes I almost like how Blacks have taken in the entire "thug" culture, keeping most people in a state of fear. Keeps them from feeling compelled to mouth off around you. It's just better off believing if whites aren't saying it, they may be thinking it and the only thing you can do is prove them wrong. Whining doesnt help a thing...in fact they just add it to their list of "Why do Black People...".
Most of my friends are white, mixed or Latino.
Good. So you know exactly what I'm talking about. |

Oh..well those are just silly kids who get all their basic knowledge about blacks from the television and one or two scenarios where blacks act loud in public and then they actually think they know how all blacks are when they haven't taken any time to actually get to know one. I did the same thing once...long time ago.
Those are my moms exact words. My mom is always talking about how all whites know about blacks is what they see on TV. She says she hates it when white people try to act different instead of be themselves just because they notice she is black lol. |
