Since I was a child, my parents have made tons of negative comments pertaining to race, especially when it comes to blacks and whites, both of which are what I am. Has this most likely influenced my views on race? Am I screwed forever?

But I think it's possible to set aside your biases and be a generally open-minded person. Just because you're racially biased doesn't mean you're racist, unless you make it so.
