Recently, the moderators have been privately discussing the possibilities of a change around LiveWire with regards to our banning policy. Previously, as most of you know, there was a special place reserved for members we had lost hope for, we called them "perma-bans." They were banned on sight at all times, as we deemed them to be incapable of reform.

Such a policy will no longer be in use. Through our discussions, we've decided to abolish the perma-ban list in some ways, and with it we are welcoming back the majority of the members on said list. However, there are exceptions, as with all things. Individuals whom we believe to be a real and actual threat to our members will never be allowed back, as we simply cannot risk having them among the community. This category is reserved for members who display sexually predatory behavior and one other member at this time.

We've arrived at this new policy because we believe it would be more beneficial at this stage to have an incentive for troubled members to follow the guidelines. If they are allowed to assimilate back into the community, we will have more to work with, and they will have more of a reason to work within the accepted guidelines. They will have the chance to gather points and posts, donations, build up a reputation and days active, and in return, it's our hope that this will be enough of a reason for them to become an asset to the community, instead of the distant memory they are now.

Note: The seven day policy will remain the same. If a member is denied service, they must wait an entire week before they will be welcomed back. If they create an account before that week is up, they will be denied service and the time frame will begin again. This will go on until they have waited the mandatory seven days. The four month pardon policy, as well, will remain unchanged.

With all of that said, please join me in welcoming back our old friends!

The perma ban was terribly implemented anyway, you could just create a new account on a different browser. Didn't even have to do IP shit to get past it.

old friends?
I mean, I knew the mods didn't have much balls but this is really just stepping down and agreeing to let all the trolls and spammers back in.

For a brief second, I didn't know who Gokaisho Ji Horikomi was. A very brief second.
I think it's safe to assume anyone with a Japanese username is Bara. I don't know why he doesn't just get back to his cosplay and anime and leave us the fuck alone.

Or at least be less obvious.
