Personally, it just sounded like someone just didn't get how someone can be raped, which isn't much different from those people who don't get why some people self mutilate. The op asked specifically for rape survivors to talk about every little detail, which is rather very inappropriate to do, considering that many have issues even thinking about it as they were deeply traumatized by the incident. My guess is crude as to why they'd make a topic that obsene.  I think they were just fishing for fantasies otherwise as to possibly imagine the loss of personal freedom and control? Themakingofagod Posted at 10:43 pm on July 13, 2008 It has nothing to do with a bad topic, there should be the ability to come out and receive help with rape issues, basically use the sites intended function, to support and help someone in a difficult situation.  It is being tainted by abuse, people basically not taking it seriously and not really even considering the emotional or psychological impact it causes on the victims and instead using it as basically a topic for points or to just rant.  If someone is having a problem, they should be able to come out with it in a serious manner and get support from it, but random topics including rape should be removed.  Free speech is one thing, but the last thing someone needs when they're trying to get help or support is to have some of their past demons come back to get thrown in their face. lingerie gurl Posted at 10:42 pm on July 13, 2008 Quote: from dreamweaver at 10:39 pm on July 13, 2008 I just did. And if people feel comfortable sharing their experiences, they don't have to. It's not up to us, it's up to the guidelines of the site, and stupidly worded questions asked out of curiosity aren't grounds for removing a thread.
