Don't you just hate when people are dull? I have this absolutely stunning friend. I don't know if she likes me or not but thats beside the point. She texts me litterally 3 times a day, which isn't the problem.. its just that shes soo dullll and drab over texts! when she writes me back after I say something its Always 5 words or less! and i dont want to ignore her cause shes beautiful and in person shes funny and smart and very interesting! its really annoying.

maybe she thinks you like her and that if she writes you really long messages she might get you thinking that she likes you which she doesn't so she might be trying to not lead you on

i thought about this, but i never write her first, she always texts me first with something like "heyyy jc :)" and if i ignore it i can expect another one within 2-3hrs

well then you make up the topic!!!!! dont blame it on her, you are the boring one.. she doesn't know what to say!!!

no, i ask her questions and tell short stories and try to be as entertaining as possible.. like if i say a joke all i get is "hahahah" with nothing else, and if i ask a queston i get a "yes","no", "good", "bad", or "idk" and thats it... and im typing like 6 lines and im lucky to get 3 or 4 words from her..

its not just her btw, people here on LW sometimes write me and do the same thing ..and random 'friends' do it on myspace and over texts

she was just an example. i have other friends that i can chat up a storm for hours about nothing in particular (which is the way the girl is in person)

I usually do that when I'm extremely busy.

I hate when people use "ppl" "u" "y" "r" "g2g" "lolz" etc. It really doesn't make them look respectable.

Ehh texting isn't always the best way to talk. I do the same thing, I hate texing.

Just enjoy the time you spend without texting.

Talk on the phone maybe?

Is she dull in general, or just when she's texting?
