She's Asian, and she really needs to shut the fuck up. Everyday, she talks about how she loves breakdancing and how she loves hip hop, and how she smokes weed. Oh, and she wears her pants baggy too. You ask her, "What are you up to this weekend?" "Oh, I'm gonna work on my moves". She's basically a chigger.
On top of that, I suggested to her a class at the studio where I practice, and she goes "No, classes are for people who want instruction. I only free style"
If you took a damn class, you might actually know how to dance!
At our school dances, what does Ms. Queen of all Hip Hop dance do? She doesn't dance.
Why doesn't she dance? Because she doesn't know how. She cannot dance. She learned one break dancing move, and thinks she knows how to dance. Oh wait, and she can do the wave with her arm.
Dancing, all types, isn't about learning one move and them claiming you know how to do it. It's about feeling the music, grooving to the music, flowing with the music, etc. If someone turns the music on, and you can't do ANY type of dancing, then you cannot dance.
As someone who has taken 6 years of ballet and hip hop, three years of belly dancing, and two years of jazz, I am insulted that she even calls herself a dancer.
GET SOME RHYTHM, then feel free to call yourself hotshit. :)
