Replies FurryPanther Posted at 11:55 pm on Nov. 19, 2008 Anchovies are incredibly versetile. You can eat them raw, cook them, all sorts of stuff. They are a huge ingredient in caesar dressing, they make for a good pizza topping, and the like. Typically, they are better when they don't stand out as an ingredient. They are a good canvas, baseline taste to build on, but are hard to work with if you make them the star of the dish.
