I am leaving the country on Monday and I WANT (I already told my doctor if it couldn't happen that I would pay full price.) my medication filled for the next year before I leave so I don't have to pay the astronomical price. I'm bi-polar and I'm a lot happier on the meds, so I would appreciate staying on them.

Well, I talked to the insurance rep. who said my doctor would have the forms. Then I talked to my doctor who said he didn't have the forms. Then I talked to another rep. who said the pharmacy would have them. The pharmacy (Who I just got off the phone with.) said my insurance company (Medicaid) has them. I was riding the bus when she told me and I flipped my lid. In order to have it filled before I leave it would have to in TODAY and now I can't do it because everyone is yanking my chain and I'm out of time. The worst part is the receptionist at my doctors office said she would come in tomorrow (Her day off) to file my papers for me. But there are no papers!

I'm so pissed off. I told the pharmacist I was sick and tired of being told one thing when it wasn't even true and that I was going to rip her and my insurance rep. a new one. Probably NOT the best way to handle it.

Turn up in person and yell and fuss and demand. It works. As long as you don't hurl insults.
