What does the girl really want to hear? See, the guy can go "Oh baby, you look fabulous" and the girl will start a tear drama telling him "Boo hooooo! You are just lying because you know I am a fat big! You bastard!" or have the guy be honest and go "Babe, you have been gaining some weight lately, haven't you?" and the girl will do the same drama "Boo hooo! How can you be so cruel with me!". It's not just towards guys, it's towards each other. If a girl isn't overly friendly, the other girl may perceive her to be a bitch.
