Have you ever examined the Mac commercials that you people buy into? They're full of propaganda. Not only propaganda, TEXTBOOK propaganda. The "I'm a Mac" ads are nothing buy straw man. The "Switch" ads are based on "Appeal by Common Man," showing typical saps bragging about how happy they are now that Jobs gave them a hand job.
The iPod is nothing about an overly costly MP3 player, which gets smaller and more unnavigable with each passing update.
The iPhone is not necessary. It's another shiny toy that gluttonous poor Americans buy because it's the cool fucking thing. Not that it isn't cool to spend $5 on an application that randomly pics a restaurant from a list, but ALL of that shit is impractical and useless. If you need to play games when you're on the bus buy a fucking gameboy for a tenth of the price, game prices included.
Apple is retrogressing to their old ways, and hopefully the impact will be so great it destroys them collectively. They've patented a new product called the "iGlove, " which utilizes finger movements to write and shit. A beta tester was BRAGGING about how he was able to use it to write an e-mail in ONLY 43 minutes.

It sounds like you're bitter that they have been more innovative in production and marketing than Microsoft and others. Macs are better quality than the average PC, user friendly and they give good service. Windows is based off the Mac OS as well. They've slowed it down lately but point is, as you said, they should've died but they didn't and they're coming back stronger than ever. About the iPhone, it's the interface and what it does for the average person that is good. Apps are often free or like $2 or less, and Urban Spoon (which you pointed out) is not $5. You shouldn't hate on a more creative company that has done business well that Microsoft took ideas from, there are still more Windows users after all.

im not bitter because they have more "innovative" marketing because any dumbass can go on tv and say "im a product A, hes a product B, product B's a douchbag" and have millions of people buy product A just because the 5 second commerical for product A made them giggle.
Personally, I much prefer OS X as an operating system, and I love the aesthetics/product design of Apple hardware, and just the way everything 'just works'. Some may see it as being 'simple' and easy to use, but I like not having to install anti-virus stuff, anti-spyware software and run defrags/scans all the time.
I also have an iPhone, and buy pretty much all my computer stuff from Apple, but like I said it's a choice and they're the company I prefer to go with, not because I'm being a fanboy, just because I like the way they work and produce things.
I don't see why people get so worked up about these sorts of things, why can't you just accept the fact that some people want to use different things and leave them be?

Yeah it is hard to switch. I'd be lying if I said I didn't have to unlearn and learn each time I switched. Macs aren't too hard though, and I think they cause less frustration than Windows does. I'd suggest trying it out, they're good machines, just don't expect some Godly one though.
I usually do edit, I just didn't for some reason this time.
