There's this girl at my school. She's really sweet, and is really into music. She composes all her own stuff, and her literal music is great, but she is a terrible singer.

I mean, that's just the truth. And I'm not sure she knows that.

The sad thing is, she tries so hard. She really, really wants to make it.

But she's going to have to do something about that voice.

Trying hard doesn't guranteen a sure win in the end of the game

tell her to just be a composer. not to sing

Tell her to take voice lessons, that you think she has potential but she's producing her sound wrong. It's the literal truth.

seriously, try and tell one of her friends that and have them tell her to get singing lessons, it will hurt her less from them

I don't know her well enough to be the one to tell her that. I just went to her myspace page, and listened to some of her music. The beats and the actual music she comes up with is AMAZING, so maybe she should be a jazz artist. But whenever she starts singing, you kind of want to cringe.
