I don't get why so many people are upset about Michael Jackson's death.  He may have been a great musician, but he was a sick peddophile.  He molested children, which is 2nd to only murder as the worst crime a person can commit.  He obviously did it; otherwise he wouldn't have paid off parents back in the nineties.  If he had truly been innocent, he wouldn't have had to do that.  All those children he had over to his ranch weren't just there to hang out.  He may have had a lousy childhood, but he still needed to grow up and be with adults.  I'm guessing he molested his children as well.  Why do you think he concealed their identity and raised them the way he did?  He didn't want them to understand it was a crime!  It's better that he's gone now so he doesn't do it again.  He should've been conivcted, thrown in prison, and raped there every night for the rest of his life!  If I were one of his victims, I would've casturated him!  All his victims deserve the chance to dance on his grave.  Him being guilty is just as obvious, if not more obvious, than OJ Simpson and his murder.  I thought most people agreed with me.  Why are people talking so different just because he's dead?  Whether he's here or not, his past remains the same, so our opinions should as well.

It's always sad for a kid when they lose their dad.  Of course Al Sharpton will say nice things about him to his kids.  He probably does like Mike though because he helped him with a lawsuit at one point.

....And his daughter cried saying he was the best. I think he was hiding his kids because he in away knew what had come of himself due to the spotlight and what it can cause of people. I think he was only trying to protect them from having their lives shoved out in the open and being judged and accused constantly by the media. I think, ya he was kind of a weird guy, but when it boils down to it you cant deny, even the people who have the same opinions as you don't deny that he was a talented artist. I don't think this is the right time to be fussing over whether or not if hes an icon or a possible child molestor, its time to remember the good things about him.  And to be quite honest, even if he did molest those kids, then fine so be it he's dead now, his family shouldn't have to be listening about it. I have no doubt the Jackson's will have enough on their plate between custody of his kids and his assets and belongings.

I also agree that we should move on, and that yes, MJ was an important figure to the music world, but there were other people famous who died recently too who had no where near the same attention as Michael Jackson.

but, like in the service yesterday, in the words of REV. Al Sharpton:

"there was nothing strange about your daddy"

Al talking to MJ's kids at the memorial service.

Oh and my post wasn't supposed to rip on anyones opinions, yeah?
Just sharing me thoughts.
I respect everyones opinions even though I think they're screwed at times.

Lol.

underthesea Posted at 4:25 am on July 8, 2009
In my opinion, you're opinion is screwed.

You don't know if he molested children, only he knows and the children know.
I honestly believe he's an innocent man though.

He was very childish, never really grew up.
I think he had those kids over at his ranch as company, as friends.
He was a big kid and a seemingly lovely guy, I think he loved those kids very much, in a friendly way though, not a sexual way.

Oh and a bit unrelated buuut-
Listen to his lyrics, yeah?
Some of them are really deep.
Some of them really make me feel shattered inside for the poor bloke.

Here's the saddest thing about Michael Jackson dying: The deaths of many good famous people are barely being recognized.  The NFL lost one of its most high-character members in Steve McNair, who was murdered.  The only place I hear of him is on ESPN and sports websites.  He deserves a televised memorial for his fans way more than Michael Jackson.  If he had died in the eighties than I would have more respect for him.

it shows he obviously had mental issues that needed to be addressed, so why would putting him in a prison to be gay raped help him?

that would make him want to rape children more.

I believe punshisments should fit the crime in cases like this.  It's not like I'd want him released afterward.

First off, there is pedophilia and then there is child abuse. Whether or not he was a pedophile does not automatically make him a child abuser.

Secondly, he probably did more good for the world than bad - he was a very entertaining fellow.

I don't know how to do that. Why can't you people handle the truth? I warned you guys with my description of not being a fan. Most non-fans who have heard of him are haters.

cause the only truth, asshole that you want to hear, is the 1 that your ears will only get.

go figure.

What I don't understand is why the news channels are obsessing over this whole thing so much. Sure a person died, that's sad, but let's move on already...

i agree..people are acting like he's god or something.

goblue15 Posted at 10:48 pm on June 27, 2009
Of course you all have a right to be sad, but molestation is much more serious than any music any person can make.  Besides, pop music sucks.

Regardless of his personal life, he is/was the single most famous person our generation has seen. He was know all around the world, people in every country have heard of him, something unheard of for any other person. Yeah he may have done some terrible and horrendous things, but he was still a huge music icon.
redhotchilis64 Posted at 10:46 pm on June 27, 2009
First off, he was no a pedophile.
Secondly, when a person who flat out revolutionized music as a whole dies so young... we have a right to be sad.
