if some had someones ip address would they be able to hack their computer?

It would simply be difficult not to have such protection, because it's practically a standard on any OS now.

And even then, they would need access to some sort of in. If you dont have a server, or any sort of external access protocol, its still not going to happen.

Im not sure, a mail server (Outlook) could be enough of an in though. At the very least they would have access to your email.

Again, this is assuming the greatest of hackers.
